Total Customer Satisfaction
What is Absolute Automation?
- Absolute Automation Systems, Inc. is a versatile company that provides automated manufacturing system solutions from simple control panels or programming to delivering complete "turnkey" manufacturing or process control systems.
- We have the capability to fulfill a wide variety of electrical and control systems needs from a high volume of small control panels to large control systems requiring several multi-bay control panels and/or a team of engineers.
- We not only provide a service, we deliver peace of mind knowing that the job will be completed on time and to your satisfaction.
Absolute Automation has grown from the combination of two predecessor firms, Tenric, Inc. and LAS Automation, Inc., in July of 1999. The Thorn brothers were second generation/owners at Tenric and Don Lavrenz owned LAS. The companies and principals merged after years of working together and six months of working in the same new building they currently occupy. The teams brought complimentary strengths in manufacturing/assembly and value-added engineering, respectively.
Principals, from left to right:
President
Our president doubles as a CEO and COO. He executes the decisions of the partners/officers while minding the day-to-day operations in the shop and the office. Tim brought a double major (marketing/finance) with him to Tenric, a forerunner of Absolute Automation. Tim's a former national champion with the Badgerland Water Ski Show Team.
Vice President, Engineering Manager
As VP of engineering, Don minds the engineering team at Absolute and the wide range of value-added engineering services they provide to clients. Don also performs the multiple roles of an owner/officer, including sharing executive and operational responsibilities, key account sales and account management duties, and direct design and application engineering tasks. When he's not working to build customers' products, you'll find Don working on the checkered flag as driver for the Killer Beez racing team or coaching his son's soccer team.
